He is survived by: his wife Geneva Hopkins Hunt; his children, Ben Hunt (Susan), Robert Hunt, Anne Hunt Granger (Doug) and Amy Hunt Shaifer (Peter); his grandchildren, Lauren Hunt Fournier (Brian), Scott Granger, Jr., Jesse Granger Izquierdo (Julian), Gordon Louis Granger, Benjamin Edward Granger, Daniel Shaifer, Drew Shaifer and Jacob Shaifer; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Turner Fournier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Liberty Baptist Church and Grace Baptist Church.
