She was predeceased by: her father David Howland; her husband Douglas A. Smith; her son Jesse W. Smith; and her sister Joan Gillingham (Howland). She is survived by: her son Shawn M. Smith; her daughter-in-law Heather K. Delemarre; her siblings, Harold Howland, Jean Howland and Nancy Howland-Miller; her grandsons, Clyde and Myles; and her pet Amber.
