It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan MacVeety Sweet of Williamsburg, Virginia, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George A. Sweet; and her grandson Paul LeRose. She is survived by: her children, Karen S. LeRose (John) and David G. Sweet (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Ellen LeRose (Ashish Aggarwal), Ben LeRose, Brandon Sweet, Ethan Sweet and Travis Sweet. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
