It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Nixon (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Carmean and Marie Carmean (Roby Jefferson Nixon); his wife Martha of Jerry's Garden; his son Emory; and his brothers, Charles, Roby, Jr. and Edward.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy, Juanita and Hazel; and his children, Marc (Mary), David (Diem), Jon (Kelli), Helen and Lucy (Rich). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
