He was predeceased by: his mother Iris Epps; and his siblings, Jerry Stone and Hallie. He is survived by: his daughter Erika Epps; his siblings, Terrance Epps, Paula Horne and Kathy Epps; and his close friends, Sherri and Benny Darden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
After being honorably discharged, he returned home and work for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
