It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Kee Sr. (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harry and Virginia Kee; his parents, Harry Kee and Virginia Kee; his daughter Pamela Kee-Hall; his siblings, Otis Fisher, Collis Kee and Mary Coles; and his grandson Tracy Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne T. Kee; his children, Carla Franklin (Elfago), James Kee Jr., Thomas Dover and Jonathan Kee; his brother Leroy Kee (Carrie); and his siblings-in-law, Carrie Kee, Carol Kee, Odessa Cary, Genetha Cooley (Melvin), Richard Taylor and Warren Carter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
After being Honorably Discharged from the Air Force, Allen moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, and worked for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, retiring after forty-two years.
