He was predeceased by: his father Gary Cowles of Williamsburg; his grandparents, Jearl Cowles, Hyler and George Minkins Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, John Wayne, Walter George Jr., Jerry Minkins, Joyce Swinton and Hestoria Banks.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Minkins (Craig Jones); his brothers, Lamont Minkins and Mario Cofield; his grandmother Cora Cowles; his aunts and uncles, Mark Minkins, Ronnie Minkins (Aleta), Marlon Cowles (LeAnn), Aundria Cowles, Nora West (James), Doressa Lucas and Geraldine Moore (Jerome); and his friends, Gregory Banks, Bridgette Dillard, Dexter Radcliffe Sr., Keith Minkins and Rachel Greenhow. He is also survived by cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
