Hazel Mae Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2023, at the age of 85, Hazel Mae Taylor (Williamsburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Marian B.; her grandmother Belle Taylor; her sons, Dennis and Kevin; her brothers, George "Lossie" Taylor and Russell Bowman; her grandson Dennis Reed; and her stepfather James "Jimmy" Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Smith, Morris Taylor and Gene Taylor Sr. (Donna); and her siblings, Vivian Frazier (Preston), Joyce Piggott (Raymond Sr.) and Raymond Bowman Sr. (Rosetta). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Hazel was educated in the York County Public School system and was employed by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, retiring from the Prestigious Williamsburg Lodge with more than twenty years of dedicated service.
