Hazel James Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel James of Williamsburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Tyler and Parthenia Tyler; her husband Clyde James Sr.; her brother Welford Tyler; her daughter-in-law Sheila James; and her grandson LeTroy Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Alethea C. James, Teresa Frazier (Wardell), Clyde James Jr. (Teresa), Kevin James, Reginald James and Craig James; her grandchildren, LaTasha, Antoine, JaBray, Jasmine, Kevin, Adrian, Tiffany, Renarda and Aftin; her siblings-in-law, Ethel Melvin (Lutrell), Charles James (Nancy), Lewis James (Christine), John Leo James (Stacie) and Sherman James (Candace); and her cousin Barbara Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many caring friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church - Williamsburg (8581 Croaker Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
