He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Freeman and Dorothy "Dot" Pierce; his sister Susan Freeman; his father-in-law Evan Dale Shirey; and his stepdaughter Amber Leigh Singleton.
He is survived by: his significant other Laurie Shirey; his stepsons, Shawn and Michael Singleton; his aunt Evelyn Deisher (Ebbie); his uncle Richard Deisher; his sister Becky Reavis Deeds; his sister-in-law Helen Blake; his brother Stephen Freeman; his mother-in-law Bonnie Shirey; and his siblings-in-law, Katy Suiter, David Suiter and James Shirey.
