We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 92, Florence Florine Gray of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Gray Bannister; her friend Orene Ratcliffe; her brother James "Jimmy" Gray; and her great grandchild Chakayla "Kayla" Spurlock. She is survived by: her friends, Mary Moore and Rosa Lee Bartlett; her daughter Marie Gray; her granddaughters, Lisa Brown, Leslie Spurlock (Tanaka) and Latrelle Brown; her great grandchildren, Lamesha Walker, Gregory Walker (Crystal), Courtney Brown, Chakira Spurlock, Cynese Spurlock, Xavier Phillips, Ja'lynn Brown and Kaiden Brown; her great great grandchildren, Midori Walker, Aubrianna Brown, Amira Lipscomb, Layla Walker and A'nyse Lipscomb; her aunt Cora Jones; and her uncle Frank Gray Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, other loving relatives, and friends.
She was a caregiver for twenty years, a domestic engineer, and worked at Eastern State Hospital and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation until retirement.
