He is survived by: his children, Demetrius Phipps, Jr. (Jackie) and LaShawnda Seay (Alvin) of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Bryce Phipps, Adeja Madison, Josiah Seay, Joelle Seay and Jianna Seay; and his siblings, Daniel Phipps, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Jonathan Phipps (Cynthia) of Lawrenceville, GA and Missy Thompson of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many caring friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
