She is survived by: her father Horace Jones Sr.; her friend Danielle; her husband Tyrone Butler; her children, Tynika "Tee" Butler (Jeff Mercer) and LaTeshia Butler (Jaterria Brickhouse); her grandchildren, Ayden Erskines and Ari Mercer; her brothers, Lawrence "Skinny" Jones, Horace "Zack" Jones Jr. and Terry "Mister" Jones; her nieces and nephews, Alexis, Jamesha, Kelly, Kendall, Breon, Bronsen of Robert and Alex; her godchildren, Latia Piggott Saunders and TyJeigh Tyler; her uncles, George "Noonie" Piggott (Amy) and Ernest "Nat" James (Glendora); her siblings-in-law, Tina Luster (Rob), Carlene Young (Darren), Anthony Butler (Chrissy) and Jerome Butler (Laverne); and her friends, Iris Black, Channy Daye, Bernice Williams, Vanessa Brown, Ramona Holmes, Audrea Fauntleroy and Christine Piggott.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Restoration Center (6205 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Her last employment was with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for six years.
