He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Piggott; his son Ross Foster; his great grandchildren, Noah Foster and Arrah Foster; his siblings, Johnnie Elijah (Cynthia) and Gloria Easter; and his son Vincent Ashby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was employed by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Eastern State Hospital.
