She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thompson and Mary Jane Thompson; her husband Robert Stone Sr.; her sons, James Coleman and Robert Stone Jr.; her grandsons, Terrence "Tee" Stone and Edward "Tom" Stone; and her brother Earl Wade Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Eric Stone (Lisa), Gene Stone, Sharon Davis, Michelle Mosley (Joe), Debra Sinclair (Glenn), Bridgette Sullivan (Andre), Leslie Dillard (Douglas), Rachel Dupree (Floyd) and Tammie Baldwin (Anthony); her sisters, Vernice Wade, Marian Jones, Fannie Bartlett and Lillian Wade; her sisters-in-law, Dornella Stone Hill-Whiting and Harriet Stone-Fikes; and her goddaughters, Kendra Richards and Tania Moore. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg at 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA, or to the Riverside Foundation.
