With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Herbert Jimmerson Jr. of Williamsburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Herbert Jimmerson Sr. and Elizabeth Pressey Jimmerson of Williamsburg Virginia; and his brother Quinton Jimmerson. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Bunaugh (Daniel), Regina Ihsane, Devron Jimmerson, Steven Jimmerson (Devonna) and Corey Jimmerson; and his siblings, Warren Lee Jimmerson (Lana), Harriet Banks (Llyod Sr.), Arlene Tucker (Jesse), Kirmitt Jimmerson (Jackie) and Glendora Finley (Major J. C.). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church (3991 Longhill Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
At an early age, Charles entered the workforce, ultimately retiring after a long career with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Newport News Shipbuilding (Shipyard).
