He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Robert L. and Vernell Berkley; his son Anthony Walker; and his siblings, Alice Berkley and Harold Berkley.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Berkley; his children, Bruce Walker Sr., Antonio Walker Sr. (Jearl), Leslie Berkley, Stanley Berkley, Carla Berkley and Lamonica Berkley; his siblings, Virginia Berkley, Mary Berkley, Bernice Lett and Kenneth Berkley; and his siblings-in-law, Burnett Jones (Joseph), Novella Palmer (Darnell), Alberta Broddus and Edmond Braxton. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
He retired from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation after forty-eight years of service in the landscaping department.
