She was predeceased by: her sons, Junius Shackleford and George Mason; and her siblings, Corine Glasco, Jeanette Mason, Frances Cowles, Mary Mason, Marvel Mason, Dorothy Travers and David Mason Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Jones, Carolyn Manning, Patrice Boyd, Linda Shackleford (Chris), Bobby Shackleford (Nancy), Charlotte Shackleford, Barbara Adkins (Russell), Rolisa Erskines (Fred) and Odessa Cary; her daughter-in-law Linda Mason; her sister Lenora Jones; and her close friends, Georgia Paige, Jack Wynne and Ann Cary.
