She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meredith Sr. and Pernell White Meredith; and her sister Faith. She is survived by: her brothers, Carl Meredith and Thomas Meredith; her children, Michael Palmer, LaToya Palmer, Joseph Palmer Jr., Bryant Olvis and Anthony Olvis; her grandchildren, Mikhayla Davis, Yasmin Satchell, Phenix Palmer, Mikingh Palmer, Justice Palmer, Arianna Palmer and Hedaia Palmer; her siblings, Sharon Smith, Shelly Miles (Lonnie), Robert Meredith, Louis Meredith, William Meredith and Robert Butler; and her close friends, Celestine Winnegan, Zakena Castelonia, Sheila Heard, Ernestine Heard, Eddie Walker and Christopher Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
