He is survived by: his wife Ann Hancock Ragsdale; his children, Katherine Hancock Ragsdale (Margaret Ewing Lloyd), Harriett Ann Ragsdale Mills (Carl Mills) and Edwin Coleman Ragsdale (Amy Webb Ragsdale); his grandchildren, Cameron Ambler Ragsdale, Lauren Parrish Mills Robards (Taylor Robards) and Nicholas Edwin Ragsdale (Victoria Long Ragsdale); his great grandchild Sara Emery Robards; his brother Julian Ragsdale; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Ragsdale and Juanita Ragsdale.
