It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvester Fields (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Alice Faye Fields; and his siblings, Judith Fields, ShiQuita Fields, Valerie Fields, Eugene Welsh and Orlando Welsh.
He is survived by: his aunt Mary L. "Bug" Welsh; his son Demetrius Fields (Elvira); his grandchild Adonis Darnell Fields; his siblings, Sonja Stamps (James), Elwood Fields (Melinda), Reginald Fields, Frederick Fields, Darlene Saunders, Cynthia Taylor, Anthony Welsh (Juanita), Gary Welsh and Karen Smith; and his aunt Rosa Lee Turner of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
