He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Manning and Otis Manning Sr.; his siblings, Larry Manning, Otis Manning Jr. and Maxine Griffin; and his granddaughter Sahmarlynn Pittman.
He is survived by: his children, Lashannon Cephas of Alphonso, Manning Jr., Shyanne Weriei, Princess Lyon-Dixon, Ryan Lyon and Laphonso Lyon; his siblings, Jerry Manning (Joyce), Marshall Manning (Geraldine), Alan Manning (Stephanie) and Lavern Ashley (Kennedy); his niece Lakia King (Donnell Wilkins); his nephew William Manning; and his close friend William Gaye. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
