He is survived by: his parents, William Brazell Schoelwer and Grace Mathews Schoelwer; his siblings, James Brazell Schoelwer and Marion Schoelwer Stites; his wife Jennylou Hamilton Schoelwer; and his sons, William Francis (Susan), Michael Hamilton (Lucia) and Robert James. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
