With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Robert Cannon of White Stone, Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his sibling Mariane Kammerer; and his parents, Barney Cannon and Helen Cannon. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cannon; his children, Cheryl Castro (John), Denise Shaffer (Glen), Kristy Cannon (Derek Sparks) and Lauren Glassman (James); his grandchildren, Heather McKeever (Bernie), Brendan Shaffer (Molly), Meagan Kleess (Max), Kaylyn Shaffer, Alexandra Shaffer, Piper Glassman and Mason Glassman; his great grandchildren, Maisie Shaffer, Maren McKeever, Kellan Kleess, Lillian McKeever, Sutton Shaffer, Crew Kleess, Palmer Shaffer and Quinn McKeever; and his brothers, Bill and Andy Higham.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Virginia, specifically Tappahannock (Virginia) Branch or a charity of your choice.
