He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Packett Bruce; and his son Mark A. Bruce. He is survived by : his parent Flossie Thompson Bruce; his son William Bruce; his daughter-in-law Pat Bruce of White Stone; and his grandchildren, Christopher Bruce of Farmville and Cathryn Bruce of Richmond.
