She was predeceased by: her husband James M. "Mel" Holmes, Sr.; her daughter Debra Diane Holmes; her parents, Henry George and Edna Brooks Lightfoot; and her sister Dorothy Howell.
She is survived by: her son Jim Holmes (Amy); her granddaughters, Jennifer Rollings (Joseph) and Janie Kelly (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Reagan Rollings, Bennett Rollings and Hayden Kelly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
