He was predeceased by: his father Barron Dawson Sr.; and his siblings, Robin Whaley and Paul Wilborn. He is survived by: his wife Patty Dawson; his children, Ryan (Shannon) and Erin (John); his grandchildren, McKynzi Ryan and Brieghton Rylie; his mother Janet Crockett Dawson; his uncles, Jimmie Lee Crockett (Edwina) and Ronnie Crockett (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Whaley, Mary Margaret Hearold, Kathy Conrad (William) and Doris Wilborn. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to White Stone Volunteer Fire Department or Irvington United Methodist Church.
