She was predeceased by: her husband Richard D. Merryman; and her brother Riley Crockett. She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Merryman of Irvington; her parents, Carolyn R. Beever (Bob) of Stafford and Jimmie Lee Crockett (Edwina) of Irvington; her close friend Neal E. Sanders of White Stone; her stepsiblings, Randal R. Beever, Joey Humphreys, Brenda Danziger and Genevieve Uebel; and her pet P. O. Box.
