He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Britton, Sally Gee, Rachael Carroll, Ima Newsome, Leslie, Roy, Charles and James Floyd; and his stepsisters, Lula Britton and Thelma Williams.
He is survived by: his brother Carter V. Floyd (Nita) of Lawrenceville; his sister-in-law Pat Floyd of Burleson, TX; his stepsister Linda Foster of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his extended family Herman Burnette of Warrenton, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Robert's name be made to the Ruth Memorial Chapel, P. O. Box 362 , Gasburg, VA. 23857.
