She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Etta Wesson House and Alonzo Christopher House; her siblings, Arlene House Jones, Cecil House, James E. House, Carlton House, Emory House, Sr. and Earl House; her niece Pam Smiley; and her nephews, William Earl House and Tommy Jones. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
