He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson; his daughters, Teresa Shifflett (James), Cheryl Montgomery (Marty) and Pamela Parr (Darrell); his grandchildren, Tiffany Tate (Tramaine), Lenelle Good (Karl), Jamie Shifflett, Jessica Goldstein (Gabe), Jackie Jarrels (Travis), Corey Parr (Anna) and Megan Smith (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Chance Shifflett, Alexys Good, D'Andre Good, Chad Craig, Emma Craig, Nevaeh Good, Aubrie Shifflett, Kennedy Tate, Allie Jarrels, Ben Goldstein, Khloe Tate, Andie Jarrels, Claire Goldstein and Malakai Smith; his brother Sheldon Thompson (Cheryle); and his brother-in-law Jack Cupp.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (201 Dogwood Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Grottoes (201 Dogwood Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441).
