He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Slaven, Jr. and Clara Slaven (Hopkins). He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Slaven (Dana); his grandchildren, Morgan Slaven (Jason Arehart), Marshall Slaven (Joy) and Madison Slaven Coffey (Garrett); his great grandchildren, Leah Slaven, Kaylee Slaven, Quinn Slaven and Ella Coffey; and his sister Nancy Slaven Hepner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Summit Church of the Brethren (314 Summit Church Rd, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
