It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Austin Sites of Weyers Cave, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Houston and Mamie F. Leake Sites; his wife Betty Catherine Craun Sites; his siblings, Wallace, Harold, Walter, Eugene Sites, Elnora Ludholtz, Violet Ludholtz, Margaret Lambert, Linda Roach and Pauline Deviers; his grandson Andrew Caleb Sites; and his daughter-in-law Judy Sites.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Sites (Debbie) of Harrisonburg, Terry Wayne Sites (Vickie) of Mt. Sidney, Dennis Sites of Broadway, Kay Brown (Tim) of Staunton and Fay Dove (Brent) of Fulks Run; his sisters, Carolyn Fitzwater of Dayton, Diana Guyer (Steve) of Harrisonburg and Jeanie Meadows (Steve) of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Amy Carlison, Aaron Sites, Mike Sites, Bobbie Jo Harris, Jason Albright, Kimberly Williams, Misty Yorro, Natasha Yorro and Amanda Brown; his great grandchildren, Hailey Carlison, Haiven Carlison, Cole Carlison, Brennan Carlison, Kirsten Fletcher, McKenzi Sites, Kaitlyn Fletcher, Kendi Wilson, Summer Albright, Josyln Wilson, Ely Harris, Kylie Williams, Jase Williams, Kiara Yorro, Veronica Yorro, Landon Magalis, Leighton Magalis, Laylana Magalis, Matthew Suffecool and Arabella Magalis; and his great great grandchildren, Brynleigh Van-Tol and Wyland Michael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
