He was predeceased by: his parent Howard Earman of Weyers Cave; his wife Catherine Ann Liskey Koiner; and his daughter Peggy Koiner Hylton. He is survived by: his parent Mattie Ruth Funkhouser Koiner of Weyers Cave; his children, Patty Dove of Dayton, Michael Koiner (Deanne), James Koiner and Judy Slusher of Weyers Cave; his grandchildren, Daniel Hylton (Katie), Amanda G. Hughes (David Hughes), Mary Beth Landes (Jason Landes), Alvin Clay Dove III, Stephanie Moats (David Moats) and Michael Alexander Koiner; and his sister Charlotte Hopkins (Edward). He is also survived by two great-grandsons and six great-granddaughters.
