She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Wilfong and Lois Wilfong (Harris); her husband Vernon Smith; and her sisters, Peggy Chandler (Wayne) of Weyers Cave and Vickie Craun of Bridgewater. She was also cherished by two nieces, a nephew and five step grandchildren.
