She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon S. Cupp and Pauline Cupp (Howdyshell); her brother Harold Cupp (Anna); and her brother-in-law Willie Puffenbarger. She is survived by: her husband Victor A. Petit; her son Travis Petit (Kim); her grandchildren, Brianna Petit (Corey Wheeler), Kayla Petit and Morgan Petit; her sisters, Marie Huffer (Luther "Tinker") and Judy Puffenbarger; and her close friends, Gary and Linda Simmers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (2488 N River Rd, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Health Foundation, for the Shenandoah House, PO Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.
