He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Skaggs and Hildared Caringer Skaggs; his siblings, Marvin, Don Skaggs and Mary; and his children, Mark Skaggs and Lisa.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his stepson C. J.; his granddaughter Rachel; his siblings, Geraldine, Kathy, Bill and Gary; and his siblings-in-law, Barb, Mary, Jerry and Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
