She was predeceased by: her father James Thomas Henry; her husband Henry Mitchell; her siblings, James Henry and Rhoda Green; and her niece Mae Green.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Kim Pascoe (Adrian); her nephews, George Louden, Jr., William Green (Christal) and Clement Green (Joyce); her niece Renee Cotman (Ray); and her cousin Melvin Wynn. She is also survived by cousins, church family and friends.
