Robert Presley Hart Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2022, at the age of 94, Robert Presley Hart Jr. (West Point, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert P. Hart Sr. and Virginia Bland Hart; his wife Edie Gannaway Hart; his sister Minor Hart Trevilian; his grandson John Gannaway Hart Jr.; his children, Mike Hart (Martha), Jack Hart (Clyde), Gina Kane (Frank) and Sara Sanders (Stewart); his grandchildren, Ragan Hart (Megan Young), Robert Hart (Ann Laurence), Tris Jones, Sam Hart (Sallie), Becca Hart, Alicia Sanders (Jeanne), Edie Sanders and Mary Sanders; and his granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Hart. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lower King and Queen Volunteer Fire¬–EMS, the Healthy Harvest Food Bank, or the Shackelfords Chapel general fund.
