It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Dale Slavey of West Point, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slavey and Alma Slavey; and his sister Barbara Fritter. He is survived by: his wife Katy Slavey; his sons, James Robert Slavey and Christopher Wilburn; his grandchildren, Amber Belle and James Robert Slavey, Jr.; and his siblings, Ellen Kay Mellon, Beverly Ross (Jim) and Frankie Slavey (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
