It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Warren Brown of West Point, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Brown; his daughter Melissa McCurry; and his siblings, Herman, Herbert Brown, Ethel Wimpling and Lillian Cosgrove.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Phillips (Robert); his grandchildren, Luke McCurry and Mattie Phillips; and his sisters, Emily Raduns and Annie Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
