He was predeceased by: his sister Katherine Leigh Sturtz; and his grandparents, M. Meade Gregory, Jr. and Arthur West. He is survived by: his son Richard "Renn" Glenn Sturtz, IV; his parents, Richard Sturtz, Jr. and Marcella Gregory Sturtz; his sister Julia Meade Tulli (Jacob); his nephew Gregory; and his niece Meade. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to benefit the Christmas Children's Fund, sponsored by the West Point Ruritans Club; checks may be made payable to the West Point Ruritans Club, P.O. Box 803, West Point, VA 23181 where Ricky was a devoted member, serving the local community.
