He was predeceased by: his son Joseph J. Staniuf, III; his parents, Joseph Staniuf and Anna Staniuf; his in-laws, Elmer and Catherine Gordon; his sister Josephine Ann Healy Abdennour; his nephew Allen Healy; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Goode, Eugene Pierce, Archie Healy and Abdennour.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Staniuf; his daughter Tina Zaprazny (John); his grandsons, Nikolas and Tyler Zaprazny; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Pierce, Ruby Goode Soles (Bernard) and Alvin Gordon (Cindy); his close friends, Jean Claude Idrici, Fred, Sarah Hodges, Adam and Margaret Geron; and his nieces, Melissa St. Pierre (Dudley) and Teresa Healy.
