It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paxton Edmonds Jr. (West Point, Virginia), who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Garland T. Edmonds; and his great-grandparents, Edward, Lucille Prince, Henry and Myrtle Philbates.
He is survived by: his parents, Donna Philbates Edmonds and James P. Edmonds (Laura); his daughter Ella-Jane Paxton Edmonds; his half-sister Ashley Edmonds; his grandparents, Nancy Edmonds, Walter and Linda Philbates; and his aunts, Mary Bush (Dean) and Sheree Hilton (Howard).
Memorial donations may be made to West Point Christian Church, PO Box 800, West Point, VA 23181 and they will make a donation to a mental health clinic in Charleston, SC.
