He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie and Conrad; his brother Wayne; and his pets, Samson, Duke and Willey.
He is survived by: his wife Claire; his daughter Carmen Mayfield (Joe); his brothers, Arthur and Troy Hanvey; and his grandsons, Owen and VJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
