He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Thorpe; his daughters, Claudette Canady and Lisa Jones; his stepson Oscar "Trey" Hopkins; his children-in-law, Anise Thorpe and Walter Jones; and his brother-in-law Taziel Wallace.
