He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Wilson Stephenson; and his brother Frank Colaw Stephenson. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy "Dot" Jean Shepherd (Colaw) of Staunton; his wife Crystal; his close friend Jeannie Stokes of West Augusta; his daughters, Crysta Marie Stephenson of Staunton and Dorothy Anita Stephenson of Monterey; his granddaughters, Rebecca Cristina Landrum and Suzanna Blue Landrum; his stepchildren, Kelly Sheldon O'Malley (Mike) of Goodview and Mick W. Sheldon (Carlita); his stepgrandchildren, Maria, Camilla and Beckett of Harrisonburg; and his siblings, Somers Stephenson (Steve Fullerton) of Monterey, Charlotte Stephenson (Richard Shamrock) of Monterey and Thomas "Tom" Stephenson of Bolar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camp #1530, P.O. Box 11, McDowell, Va. 24458.
