With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Whay (Weems, Virginia), born in Irvington, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Whay; his wife Christine Sharp Whay; and his stepdaughter Sarah Rice. He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Ransone (Rannie); his granddaughter Esther Emory Shelton Ryan (Michael); his brother Carroll Whay, Sr. (Ruth); and his stepdaughter Joyce Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
