She was predeceased by: her parents, Willam Peed and Louise Peed; her husband William Morris; her siblings, Betty Peed Kellum and William Maxwell Peed, Jr.; and her nephews, John Thompson (Jack) and Charles Kellum.
She is survived by: her sons, Collin Smither (Amy) and Thomas Smither; her grandchildren, Benjamin Smither (Melanie) and Gretchen Spencer (Luke); her great grandchildren, Maxwell Smither and Walter Smither; her nieces, Melinda May (Tom), Rebecca Finelli (Charles) and Patricia Kellum Carroll; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caroline Finelli, Annabelle Finelli, Kenneth May (Kellyn) and William May (Sarah).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie Funeral Home (116 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
