It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lewis Abbott of Weems, Virginia, born in Callao, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda L. Lewis and Grayson W. Lewis; her husband Arthur Abbott; her stepfather Dandridge W. Davis; her siblings, Grayson W. Lewis, Edna L. Bush and Marjorie L. Hanks; and her nephews, Danny Hanks and John Tyler Lewis.
She is survived by: her sister Olive Jeane Lewis Thrift; and her nieces and nephews, Wanda H. McGeorge, Linda H. Ashton, Daphne T. Winebarger, David Bush, Darryl Bush, Dean Bush, Dexter Bush and Gary Lewis. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
